FOOD PROCESSING KNIFE STEEL
Cleanliness and corrosion resistance are two key factors in the food processing industry.
UHB SS731 has 13.2% chromium and is enriched with 0.4% Nickel that provides
excellent corrosion resistance together with a sharp edge for food processing.
In a hardened and tempered condition it gives good wear resistance to minimise the production down time.
UHB SS716 is similar to our UHB SS731 grade but enriched with 1% Molybdenum.
UHB SS716 is the choice for applications in the thinner dimension range.+
