MARTENSITIC STAINLESS STEELS
AEB-L - Martensitic Stainless Steel. Originally developed for razor blades. Offers keen and durable edge. Excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. Ferromagnetically hard.
Applications: Razor blades, scalpels, scissors, knives for household use, restaurant kitchens, hunting and slaughteries.
UHB 731SS - Martensitic Stainless Steel grade with good resistance to corrosion in hardened condition. Good toughness and high fatigue strength, even at high temperatures (up to 400 degrees C). Characterized by high vibration-damping properties. Ferromagnetically hard.
UHB 716SS - Similar to 731, but with even higher strength.
Applications: Flapper valves, injection valves, springs of slender dimensions, knives.
