AISI

1075 - Specially produced for narrow bandsaw blades. Good toughness and fatigue strength. Scaleless blue, hardened and tempered.
Applications: Wood bandsaw blades, butcher bandsaw blades, etc.

1095 - In hardened condition, meets highest conceivable demands on purity and high fatigue strength. The ultimate tensile strength (UTS) is related to the strip thickness to give the best combination of blankability and high fatigue strength. Bendability is surprisingly good even at high tensile strength. Available in Bright Blue Polish, hardened and tempered or annealed.
Applications: Flapper valves and shock absorber valves, accordion reeds, feeler gauges, springs, doctor blades, industrial knives.

52100 - Cold rolled annealed, high wear resistance and fatigue strength. Originally produced specifically for ball bearings.
Applications: Chainsaw guide bars, tobacco knives, parts for textile machines, latch needles, valve seat washers, washers for thrust ball bearings.

1.25 CARBON - Suitable for cutting tools. High wear resistance which gives long lasting edges. Good hardenability even in thicker sizes. Available in hard rolled or annealed.
Applications: Files and cutting tools.
